Motto: "Knowledge is the key."
More about the instructorThe course is aimed at Hustle newcomers/beginners and takes place every Thursday at 6:20 p.m. It consists of 60-minute classes, a 30-minute session, and a Student Hustle Social party at the end of the course. The classes aim to provide the necessary Hustle principles and techniques as well as a proper understanding of the dance posture and movement in the Hustle. We will also focus on the follower/leader's footwork in detail. Together we learn the basic hustle patterns and styling in our courses. We will also focus on dance etiquette, mutual communication, and how to engage in conversation with each other through dancing. A partner is not a requirement for registering for the course. Whether you have a partner or not, don't be afraid to take part in a great Hustle class of the Kopernicky duo.
What awaits you in the course?
Every Thursday from 7:35 p.m. to 8:05 p.m., participants have the opportunity to practice course material or anything else they need in the Hustle Session training course. This class also gives you the perfect opportunity to dance to your heart's content, applying everything you've learned dancing with multiple partners and accelerating your progress.
We care about the community, that is why our course participants can also look forward to the Student Hustle Social (December 14th) - a special hustle party with a live DJ.
Hustle is a social partner dance that originated in NYC clubs during the disco era of the 1970s. It was inspired by mambo/salsa and influenced over time by various other dance styles such as swing, tango, waltz, to contemporary couple or street dance styles. Hustle is danced to club music such as funk, disco, house, hip hop, RnB, but also to various other genres. It is the music that makes this dance a universal partner dance that you can enjoy together at any dance party. Hustle is a "social dance" and therefore great value is placed on working in partnership, leading and following. It is important that we all just enjoy dancing, get to know each other and have fun together.
